WELCOME
When I am out in Southampton, every morning I take a walk on the beach. Last year, I started picking up trash, and this year I am posting these photos in order to share them with you.
Picking up trash has been enlightening and gratifying. I am heartened by President Obama's call for volunteerism and I hope to inspire others to clean up their beaches and neighborhoods.

Overview:
You can make a difference! Join in the annual international coastal cleanup effort which clears and categorizes the various marine debris found on our beaches. Help prevent seaturtles, seals and birds from being injured by trash while beautifying our coastline. All ages welcome. Community service hours available.
All programs require pre-registration. Please call the Mashomack Preserve office at (631) 749-1001 for reservations, meeting place, and further information.
